![]() ![]() And sadly, I cannot do the four LED strips due to the set I have ordered. Just when I asked the question again, I really don't know what I was thinking. I understood when Coby7 put up the first diagram of the dome light of what the switch did. (not a complete tutorial, but something like I did above). I saw you added the image of the circuit, to a novice, its not easy to see where the power is coming from, put it in words, like a brief instruction. Solder some wires to your LED strips then stick your LED strips in place, 2 right next to each other on both sides, get one strip from each side and wire it to the gear light bulb wires, get the ones left over, the other 2 one on each side and wire them to the BCM wires you added.įor someone who kinda knows whats going on I think those instructions would work. Okay so 1st, run 2 wires from BCM-C3 at pins A10 and A3, 2nd, run to wires from the gear bulb, you will end up with 2 grounds and 2 positives. ![]() I think I can give instructions for my circuit in 1 paragraph, lets try. I can read your circuit and see its workings, great work by the way! Post added at 10:53 PM - Previous post was at 10:51 PM. You will be able to adjust the brightness as they will be tapped in with the gear shift bulb. At this point, assuming its night time, your cluster lights will come on, so the second strip, will power on and stay on as long as its dark outside. You open the door to get in, the Dome Supply kicks in, it will kick off a few seconds after starting your engine. Close the door with car not running, its kicks off. Well, you open the door, so the Dome Supply kicks in. At this point, you will be able to dim them or brighten them with the stock dimmer. If you open your car door and get inside, the lights will come on, assuming you put your key in and turn on the car (at night time) within about 20-30 seconds they will stay on, but only at night time. When you open a door, the lights will come on, and stay on until you close the door, once you close the door they will dim out after a short while, if the car is not running/key set to ON (not ACC). If I think you want what I think you want, the result will be as follows: Okay, so now we know when you want power, what LEDs do you plan on adding? ![]()
